Using the Velassi

How do I get in on some of that sweet sweet velassi lovin'?

The velassi and their world are free for anyone to use. There are precious few rules for you to follow but here they are.

1. You must credit the velassi and world to Delilah deSora.
You do not have to go crazy with this. A quick note at the beginning of the fic (or the end) is fine. I don't require it stamped all over the place. A link back to this page (velassi.com) would be nice.

2. Please do not use other people's velassi or plot points without their permission.
I've got an open policy with my velassi but some people are very partial to their and don't want them used. Please respect their wishes. Also, please do not e-mail them a million times beginning to use their characters if they have already said no. If you do use their characters (with their permission) you must provide a note on your fic saying that the character belongs to them.

Okay now that that's out of the way you're ready to go! It's your fic so have fun with it! While I would be a little weirded out to read a "Velassi in space" fic I respect your right (and creativity) to write it. In the past I had a pretty strict no hetero rule (cause girlie part squick me out) but as the years go by I've been slowly relaxing it. There are no female velassi (in my world) but since everyone's been so good accepting my "males only" rule I am going to back down a bit and say that if you really really want to do some hetero stuff go ahead. Your story is going at the bottom of the pile with a big giant warning on it for us squicky girlie crowd though *laughs*

When you're ready to post head over to the eFiction page and get yourself set up! (you might want to read the eFiction FAQ (look left) so the program flaw my page has doesn't hang you up).

Basically just have fun with it. I know I do!
